Last chance to use your 2017 tax allowance!

16/10/2018 Posted by Doreen Molloy - Communications Manager | Comments(0)

AVC REMINDER - 31st October is an important date in all of our calendars as it represents a last chance to get some money back from the taxman!

31st October (or 14th November if you use the Revenue Online Services) is the final date on which you can claim tax relief on backdated Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVCs). If you pay a lump sum AVC by cheque or bank transfer and claim tax relief on this AVC by 31st October you can get tax relief in respect of the previous calendar year.

If you are interested in making AVCs or have any queries on your CERS, CWPS or CIRT pension arrangement please contact your usual CPAS contact or send your query to
